My Voice, My Choice advocates for equity and justice for historically marginalized, disenfranchised, and oppressed peoples in Montana. My Voice, My Choice is a new program at Montana Racial Equity Project. Many people face barriers to reproductive health and the right to choose to have children. These barriers may include federal or state laws or other regulations. For individuals, it may also include a lack of health insurance, safety, lack of access, and other social determinants of health.
The intent of My Voice, My Choice is to bring together organizations and individuals around the various issues that empower people to make their own choices about having and caring for children.
My Voice, My Choice creates a space that is accepting and non-judgemental. This program will provide accurate information and resources for people directly affected by barriers to abortion access to inform and implement necessary cultural and political change. The monthly meetings will consist of policy and advocacy updates, guest speakers, and a toolkit with materials to support pro-choice engagement.
